Basil Watson
The exploration and celebration of life through the human figure.
Often reflecting a sense of life of triumph, the expressions of
emotions and attitudes are reflected through subtle details or
the dynamic movement and postures of the subjects.
Drawing is the foundation that moves through maquette size to
larger than life sculptures in a range of media; bronze, metal,
stone and wood. Modeling however provides the most flexibility
and spontaneity and is the medium of choice.
